Mo In Hell: Cartoon On Catholic Mag
Dante: (the left one on the right)"Isn't that guy divided in half from head to butt Mo?"
Virgil: (the right one on the right)
"Yes, he is divided because he brought division to society!
While the other one there with his trousers down is Italian politics concerning Islam."
Note: "with his trousers down" is an allegory for giving in.While the other one there with his trousers down is Italian politics concerning Islam."
Cesare Cavalleri, director of "Studi Cattolici" (Catholic Studies), has said that in fact the cartoon only portraits a passage from the Divine Comedy (Canto XXVIII). The cartoon is the first of series of anti-PC cartoons.
UPDATE: The Jyllands-Posten has an article on this cartoon. (In Danish)
UPDATE (2): Cesare Cavalleri, director of Studi Cattolici, is allegedly a member of the Opus Dei.
The director has apologised to anyone who feels offended by the cartoon. Is censoring the Divine Comedy next?
UPDATE (3): I have found a Washington Times article on this story.
I would like to point out a mistake in the Washington Times article: it is not Virgil asking Dante, but Dante asking Virgil. Virgil is Dante's guide.
UPDATE (4): A Telegraph article here. Note how the article falsely makes the reader believe that Mo is actually depicted in the cartoon.
UPDATE (5): This is the passage of the Divine Comedy the above toon refers to:

The poets are in the ninth
chasm of the eighth circle, that of the Sowers of
Discord, whose punishment is to be mutilated.
Mahomet shows his entrails to Dante and Virgil
while on the left stands his son Ali, his head cleft
from chin to forelock.

He is saying "divided from BALLS (testa, from testicles) to head", not butt.
Actually his translation was correct. La testa is the head in Italian, whereas le chiappe are the cheeks of the butt. If you want to get technical.
Nope, it is butt, I'm positive.
whatever (butt or ball) main point is that this fake guru but real terrorist mahomet is cut into pieces forever, its cool and justice, lets cut him again and again and all his followers and that for the eternity, i really want we eradicate that islam from this world, its the only pple wich bring hell on planet, nuke them all for world peace sake.
