UK: Muslim Takes Sauna in Hijab
The Sun via Dhimmi Watch: A MUSLIM woman in full hijab robes was allowed to swelter in a SAUNA because worried staff did not want to offend her.She then jumped into the sports centre’s swimming pool to cool off while still wearing the black top-to-toe Islamic dress.
Staff did not know if they should enforce a dress code which asks customers to wear SUITABLE clothes.
People in the sauna — all wearing normal swimming cossies — were amazed as the woman joined them in the steam room in her robes.
Last night surprised Muslim spokesman Taj Hargey asked: “How can you swim properly if you wear a hijab?”
After ten minutes in the sauna and ten minutes in the pool the mystery woman changed out of her wet hijab into a dry one in the changing rooms and left alone.
Yesterday members of the David Lloyd Leisure centre in Oxford said they were baffled by the women’s actions.
Club member Ian Caldwell, 46, was sitting in the sauna when the fully-dressed woman walked in.
He said: “I pointed out that it was a sauna and asked her if it was appropriate. All the other women in there were all in bathing costumes.
“When I saw her in the pool later, she was still wearing the Islamic outfit.
“The pool attendant said she was allowed to wear this due to her religious customs. It was just political correctness gone completely barmy. I told the manager that it was my custom to attend saunas naked, as they do in Sweden, and said I trusted he would find that equally acceptable.
“But to be serious, this is a question of hygiene, not religious rights.”

A method in her madness
The wearing of garments other than a normal swimming costume has always been a complete no no.
Even when some young girl would request permission to wear a t-shirt to cover a scar after some operation the reply was always no this was policy always was!
All of a sudden rules are thrown out but only for muslims.
i do not practise political cerrectness and the reason being it's real name which is cultural Marxism having spent alot of time behind the iron curtain before europe had gained a semblance of freedom i refused to allow Marxism to remove my freedom to speak.
But over the past couple of years we now have islam trying to tell us how to think,dress etc and this is unacceptable anyone that wants to live by sharia laws and ways, then it would be better that they remove themselves to a country that fit's their needs.
It is not Britain and it never will be!

Nice stunt. Probably a ploy to gain a separate but equal sauna for the Infidelophobes by provoking "insulting" comments. I have many of friends at aquabot who are muslims and nobody seems interesting in it leave alone commenting either...It looks like the world will see what Jim Crow was all about at this rate.
I just came to Great Britain, and I don't speak for British folks, but I still thought most of em would just ignore the lady in the Muslim saunawear. There's a guy who comes to our sauna and wears a garbage bag over his jog suit - we all smile about it, but its his business. Its no more a hygiene issue than people wearing dirty swimsuits, or something, and who can tell who showered first and who didn't? Besides, whether she is married or single, Christian or Muslim, a lady has a right to cover herself. Its her body, and I can sympathize with the exposed feeling one gets in a mixed sex sauna. I wish they had seperate ones for ladies and gents, but I guess I'm old fashioned. :-)
