Hospital staff claim they were banned from handing out hot cross buns this Easter in case they upset non-Christians.

The decision disappointed patients at Poole Hospital in Dorset and angered catering staff.

In an email to their local paper, sent on Good Friday, catering staff said: 'We the kitchen staff of Poole Hospital were disgusted to find that the patients were not getting hot cross buns this morning.

"The manager of the catering department said he was worried about the ethnic minorities that work here."

The workers, who did not want to be named, said they had been inundated with calls from nurses on the wards asking why there were no buns this year.

Eventually hospital bosses relented and they were distributed on Easter Monday.[...]

UK: Muslim Takes Sauna in Hijab

The Sun via Dhimmi Watch: A MUSLIM woman in full hijab robes was allowed to swelter in a SAUNA because worried staff did not want to offend her.

She then jumped into the sports centre’s swimming pool to cool off while still wearing the black top-to-toe Islamic dress.

Staff did not know if they should enforce a dress code which asks customers to wear SUITABLE clothes.

People in the sauna — all wearing normal swimming cossies — were amazed as the woman joined them in the steam room in her robes.

Last night surprised Muslim spokesman Taj Hargey asked: “How can you swim properly if you wear a hijab?”

After ten minutes in the sauna and ten minutes in the pool the mystery woman changed out of her wet hijab into a dry one in the changing rooms and left alone.

Yesterday members of the David Lloyd Leisure centre in Oxford said they were baffled by the women’s actions.

Club member Ian Caldwell, 46, was sitting in the sauna when the fully-dressed woman walked in.

He said: “I pointed out that it was a sauna and asked her if it was appropriate. All the other women in there were all in bathing costumes.

“When I saw her in the pool later, she was still wearing the Islamic outfit.

“The pool attendant said she was allowed to wear this due to her religious customs. It was just political correctness gone completely barmy. I told the manager that it was my custom to attend saunas naked, as they do in Sweden, and said I trusted he would find that equally acceptable.

“But to be serious, this is a question of hygiene, not religious rights.”

A junior school production of the children's story has been renamed the Three Little Puppies for fear of offending Muslims.

Organisers of a children's music festival have altered the popular characters and lyrics because of the multi-cultural nature of the youngsters involved and their parents in the audience.

Committee member Gill Goodswen, head teacher of Stile Common Junior School, defending the move.

She said: "We have to be sensitive if we want to be multi-cultural. It was felt it would be more responsible not to use the three little pigs.

"We feared that some Muslim children wouldn't sing along to the words about pigs,' she said. [...]

Oslo Rapes Skyrocket: 6 Times As Many As In NYC - Media And Authorities Ignore The Immigration Connection

There has been an explosive increase in the number of rape charges in the city of Oslo, but both the media and the authorities consistently refuse to tell us why. They did do so, however, in 2001, when two out of Norway's three largest newspapers, Aftenposten and Dagbladet, reported that most of these rape charges involve an immigrant perp, which again mostly means Muslims. Both newspapers have since then conveniently “forgotten” about this, and have never connected the issue to Muslim immigration although the number of rape charges has continued to rise to historic levels. They are thus at best guilty of extreme incompetence, since their former articles about this issue are still available online.

Norway’s Minister of Justice from 2001 to 2005, Odd Einar Dørum, mentioned the problem in 2001 but has later gone quiet about the issue. The reported number of rapes in Oslo is now six – 6! – times as high per capita as in New York City, yet the media keeps warning against Islamophobia.

According to Aftenposten, the clinic (voldtektsmottak) at the emergency hospital known as Legevakt has never had so many rape victims to treat. Its ability to care for them all is being severely tested. The number of reported rapes has skyrocketed this year.

Two out of three charged with rape in Norway’s capital are immigrants with a non-western background according to a police study. The number of rape cases is also rising steadily.

And of course there are PC idiots like this professor who argue that it is the host society that needs to adapt to immigrants and not viceversa.

Unni Wikan, a professor of social anthropology at the University of Oslo, in 2001 said that “Norwegian women must take their share of responsibility for these rapes” because Muslim men found their manner of dress provocative. The professor’s conclusion was not that Muslim men living in the West needed to adjust to Western norms, but the exact opposite: “Norwegian women must realize that we live in a Multicultural society and adapt themselves to it.”

Did anyone ask for a Multicultural society? Was there a vote?

Man convicted for anti Muslim banner

A protest in London against the publication of a cartoon depicting the prophet Mohammed as a terrorist incensed an Aberporth man, who painted an anti-Muslim slogan on a white sheet and draped it over his garden fence.

The words in bold red paint stated: “Kill all Muslims who threaten us and our way of life. Enoch Powell was right.”

Father of two Gary John Mathewson, who was arrested for displaying the banner, told a court: “This won’t stop until there is a Muslim president in the White House.”

And referring to MP Jack Straw questioning whether Muslim women should wear face veils he asked: “Are you going to arrest him?”

When prosecutor Maggie Hughes pointed out that the banner did not mention extremists Mathewson said: “That’s what I meant by those who threaten us and our way of life.’”

Adding that during the protest in London a Muslim was dressed as a suicide bomber he asked: “Why was he not arrested?”

One of his neighbours, a retired Army officer with 23 years service, told the court he reported the matter to the police because he feared a visit from Muslim extremists. [ed. dhimmi in training] ...

Finding Mathewson guilty presiding magistrate Anne Rees said she and her colleagues felt the words on the banner were likely to cause someone distress, and they did not find it as reasonable. The defendant was given a conditional discharge for two years and ordered to pay £150 costs.

Britain now top target for Al-Qaeda

LONDON (AFP) - Britain is the top target of the Al-Qaeda terrorist network, which now presents a bigger threat than ever before, a newspaper reported.

Citing unnamed anti-terrorism chiefs, The Guardian newspaper said that Al-Qaeda had regrouped and recovered its organisation in Pakistan, despite a more-than-four-year campaign by a US-led coalition to wipe out the network. In that time, the newspaper reported, the terror organisation has become a more coherent network with a regular supply of volunteers.

Islamic extremists “viewed 7/7 (the July 7, 2005 suicide attacks on London’s transport network) as just the beginning,” an unnamed senior source said. “Al-Qaeda sees the UK as a massive opportunity to cause loss of life and embarrassment to the authorities,” the source continued.

Meanwhile, another unnamed source told the daily: “Britain is sitting at the receiving end of an Al-Qaeda campaign.”

Britain is seen as an easier threat for Al-Qaeda than many other countries because of its historic links with Pakistan, with tens of thousands of travellers between the two countries each year, the newspaper reported.

UK Muslim Police Officer Excused From Guarding Israeli Embassy

The Telegraph: Britain's most senior policeman has called for an urgent review into the decision to excuse a Muslim police officer from guarding the Israeli embassy in London on moral grounds.

Pc Alexander Omar Basha, part of the Metropolitan Police's Diplomatic Protection Group, asked for special dispensation not to work at the embassy because of his ethical objection to Israel's bombing of Lebanon, according to the Sun newspaper.

The officer is understood to have relatives in Lebanon.

Today Sir Ian Blair, the Metropolitan Police commissioner, said he had ordered an investigation into how the decision was made.

2 Nights In Jail For "Revving Car In a Racist Manner"

The Sunday Mail via Dhimmi Watch: A DRIVER spent two nights in jail after being accused of "revving his car in a racist manner".

Mechanic Ronnie Hutton, 49, yesterday described his court ordeal which finally ended when prosecutors dropped the allegation of racism.

But he was still convicted of a breach of the peace for revving the engine of his £25,000 Lotus.

Witnesses claimed he had been trying to intimidate a Libyan couple on the pavement. Ronnie, of Stirling, claims he was only revving the powerful V8 engine to avoid another £15,000 repair bill.

But off-duty Chief Inspector Eoin Jenkins thought he was targeting Muslim Isam Maigel and his wife Hana Saad.

And when Jenkins, now retired, confronted Ronnie he was told to "f*** off".

On Thursday, at Stirling Sheriff court, the Crown ditched the racist part of the charge but Sheriff Andrew Cubie convicted Ronnie of breach of the peace and fined him £150.

Last night, he said: "To be convicted for revving my car in a busy street is hard to take. Does this mean anyone driving a noisy car in Scotland is now a criminal?"

Following the row last September, police officers arrived at Ronnie's home and asked him to come with them to talk about the incident. He ended up being kept in a cell for two nights before being taken to court where he was released without charge.

...In court, Mr Maigel, 28, then a student at Stirling Uni, said: "The driver came alongside and was trying to annoy us by revving his engine very, very loudly."

Using an interpreter, Hana Saad, 23, said he had degraded them "maybe because we are Muslim".

Hmm... doesn't this smell like victimism? Just a little?

Ronnie claims he was only trying to prevent the repeat of a engine problem had had suffered earlier with the Esprit.

He said: "I've had problems with the Lotus since I bought it. I paid £15,000 for a new engine in 2003.

"As soon as I started the car the oil pressure light wouldn't go out. I accept I revved the engine - it's a V8 twin turbo and is noisy and frightening.

"I would openly apologise to this couple. I am not a racist."

UK Cemetery Plans To Align ALL Coffins To Mecca

In one of the most outlandish examples of how Britain puts the sensitivities of its minority Muslim population before others, a multi-faith cemetery is ensuring that ALL graves are aligned towards Mecca (northeast), even though Christian graves are normally aligned to face east. The news comes from Nottingham Evening Post. Mecca is in a southeasterly direction, but Islamic belief maintains that the dead look over their shoulder towards Mecca.

We have had the lavatories realigned in Brixton prison in April, so that no convicts' rears or dangly bits, whatever their faith, do not point towards Mecca while they do their business, but the move to make all graves align towards Mecca is ridiculous.

If anyone chooses to buried in the usual Christian manner, they must make a special request for the coffins to be aligned according to their faith. If they do not make such a request then they will be buried aligned appropriately for Mecca. Nottingham is not made up of a majority of Muslims (yet), so such policies seem outrageous.

The High Wood Cemetery is at Low Wood Road, Bulwell, and it opened on July 3. It is Nottingham's first purpose-built cemetery for 80 years, and can accommodate 13,500 adult tombs within its 40 acres. It has cost local taxpayers £2.5 million ($4.8 million).

It has separate areas for people of varying faiths, but Nottingham City Council, in consultation with the city's Cemetery Consultative Committee, wanted an ordered and tidy appearance, so Christian customs have been sacrificed in favour of Muslim customs, even though only 15% of the graves are expected to be occupied by Muslims.

Sept. 4 (Bloomberg) — U.K. police officers were given “diversity training” at an Islamic school southeast of London that’s now at the center of a terrorism investigation.

Anti-Terrorist Branch police from London raided the private Jameah Islameah school in East Sussex and in the same inquiry arrested 14 people in London Sept. 1 and 2. The county’s police force said its own officers visited the school as many as 15 times for training to improve their awareness of Muslim culture. London police said the raids aren’t tied to the 2005 London bombings or arrests Aug. 10 over an alleged plot to bomb planes. ...

“We are not embarrassed by our involvement with the school but, inevitably, this will have to be reviewed in the light of the weekend’s events,” Sussex Police said in an e-mailed statement.

The campus was brought to the attention of U.K. authorities in 1999, when Yemen’s ambassador to the U.K. alleged it was used to train young Islamic extremists, the Daily Telegraph reported. Police concluded at the time that the allegation was “totally unsubstantiated,” and then-Foreign Secretary Robin Cook said there had been no breach of British law, the newspaper reported.

Sussex Police today said the school was used by officers and staff for advanced training so they could themselves become diversity trainers. “This has involved a series of one-day visits to the school by groups of two or three trainers on up to 15 occasions over more than a year,” police said. A police spokesman said he couldn’t immediately provide further details of the arrangements between the school and the force.
