Ramadan: The Month Of Rioting

To briefly summarise, since the start of this year's Ramadan, Europe has seen Muslims rioting in Brussels, Paris, and Preston, England (and Windsor). The past few days have seen the addition of the city of Göteborg, Sweden to the list of European cities affected by rioting Muslims. Where next?

Ramadan Text Service Alert in Sweden

Today is the first day of the Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims.

Dagens Nyheter: A Swedish mobile operator has launched a text alert service to inform the customers who sign up for the service (at the price of 2 SEK a day, approx. $0.27) exactly when the sun is rising and setting. The service is to be offered in 10 Swedish cities, including Eskilstuna, Göteborg, Jönköping, Luleå, Malmö, Stockholm, Sundsvall, Umeå, Uppsala and Västerås.

Waiting for Churchill or Waiting for Godot?

The lastest "interfaith" UK poll indicates the rising concerns of the general population towards Islam. Similarly, various recent polls all seem to point to a growing awareness among normal European citizens about the current Islamic threat to Europe. This recent essay from Fjordman, Waiting for Churchill or Waiting for Godot?, illustrates the significance of these polls and much more.

... "During the height of the Muhammad cartoons crisis, Fjordman was among the minority who thought this was good news for Europe and the West. Although it may sound absurd to Americans, those rather innocent cartoons may have done more to open the eyes of Europeans to the Islamic threat than the terror attacks of 9/11, the London and Madrid bombings combined. People who can burn down embassies because of something so silly quite simply don't have anything at all in common with us, and cannot function in our democratic societies. Muslims may have pushed too far, too early, and thus jolted some life back into even the near-comatose continent of Europe. Recent opinion polls indicate that there is now a critical mass of ordinary Europeans who no longer buy the brainwashing about Islam being a peaceful religion.

In Germany, according to a study commissioned by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper, 56 percent of Germans said they believed a "clash of cultures" already existed. 71 percent said they believed Islam to be "intolerant," some 91 per cent said they associated Islam with oppression of women. Asked if there should be a ban on the building of mosques in Germany as long as the building of churches in some Islamic states is forbidden, 56 per cent agreed. There was even considerable backing for ending Germany's constitutional right of freedom of religion with regard to Islam. Asked if strict limits should be imposed on the practice of Islam in Germany to protect the country, 40 per cent said they would support such moves. In the Netherlands, 63 per cent of respondents thought Islam was incompatible with modern European life. Even in Sweden, the purgatory of Political Correctness, opinion polls have revealed that two out of three Swedes doubt whether Islam can be combined with Swedish society. Recently, I have also for the first time seen visible cracks in the wall of censorship on public debate in Sweden. Change is in the air, all over Europe.

Europeans now gradually start to awaken from the spell of Multiculturalism, Political Correctness and Muslim immigration, but they still don't know how deep the rabbit hole goes. Most of them still haven't heard of Eurabia, or the fact that the European Union, including many of their own, entrusted representatives, have actively encouraged massive Muslim immigration to the continent. Until they do this, it will be more difficult to bring down the EU, and that is absolutely necessary in my view for Europe to prevail from this. No, the EU isn't the only problem Europe has, but it is by far the worst, and we don't have even a theoretical chance of fixing our other problems as long as the EU is in charge. It needs to be removed completely. The hour is late. Is it too late? Even if it's not too late, whatever can be done needs to be done soon.

...There are many people who think Europe is already lost. I happen to be among the ones who have stated that this is only one of several possible outcomes. Europe is now at one of those famous crossroads where the course of history could go either way. Given the weakness of Europe and the rapid expansion of Islam, it would be foolish to discount the possibility that Muslims could win this. However, I happen to think that another possibility is that Islam not only will lose the battle for Europe, but could become destroyed as a global force during this century. Maybe in some strange way, Europe needs to go through a period of colonization and de-colonization herself, to get rid of her post-colonial guilt complex?"

Commenting on the Guardian blog “Comment is free”, he referred Inayat Bunglawala of the Muslim Council of Britain to a Little Green Footballs article on Shari’ah in Sweden. As a result, someone sent LGF this lovely piece of hate mail:

Persson: Mistake to Take Part in Israel exercise

The treacherous dhimmi Swedish PM Göran Persson strikes again.

The Local: Sweden, which last week withdrew from international air force exercises because of Israeli presence, last year took part in similar exercises involving Israel. It was a mistake, says the Prime Minister.
The government made an error when it allowed the Swedish Air Force to undertake exercises together with Israel, Göran Persson has said.

The Air Force took part in exercises with Israel last year in Canada, it has emerged. Last month the government withdrew Swedish participation in international exercises because of the presence of the Israelis, drawing criticism from the opposition in Sweden as well as from Israel.
"The same rules should have applied then as now," the Prime Minister said on Wednesday.
The exercises in Canada last year were twice approved by the government.
"There is no good explanation for it. It must quite simply, as one of the generals responsible said, be down to a mistake. The same position should have applied then as now," Persson said.
[...] Persson said that while Hamas is classed as a terrorist organization, that does not mean that everyone who is linked to or is a member of Hamas is classed as a terrorist, Persson argued. [...]

Muslims congratulate you for your victory in election.
We and many of our representatives for muslims around Sweden have worked hard for socialdemocrats to win and we increased muslim participation in election, particulary in Stockholm.
Surveys showed max. 38% of votes for us, but together we turned victory for socialdemocrats with over 40% of votes.
We muslims wish you good luck for next 4 years. We hope that you will fulfill some of our demands/requirements in the future.

Swedish Muslims Present Long List of Demands

Two days ago I blogged about the Islamic Association that demands special laws for Muslims in Sweden. Now LGF has linked to the outrageous translated full list of demands. Disgusting.
Just four examples:

"A mosque in every city or county would have significant value to the Muslims of the country."

"The construction of mosques ought to be financed by interest free loans [...]"

"We demand special legislation in this matter that is the right to two days paid vacation in connection to the celebration of these holidays [Muslim holidays of Eid al fitr and Eid al Adha]".

Muslims demand that the Union of Congregations [head organ] in the Swedish Church co-operates with the countries counties to reserve burial plots in all counties that have Muslim inhabitants.

I demand that you get out. Immediately. Get out of Sweden and out of the West, you ungrateful arrogant scum.

Sweden: Islamic Association Demands Special Laws For Muslims

To my dismay, things in Sweden are looking bad indeed. After the withdrawal from military exercises because of Israel's participation and the issue of visas to Hamas members, now this.

The Local: Sweden's largest Muslim organisation has demanded that the country introduce separate laws for Muslims, according to Swedish television. Sweden's equality minister Jens Orback called the proposals "completely unacceptable".
The Swedish Muslim Association, which represents around 70,000 Muslims in Sweden, has sent a letter to all Sweden's main political parties suggesting a number of reforms, SVT's Rapport programme reported.
The proposals include allowing imams into state (public) schools to give Muslim children separate lessons in Islam and their parents' native languages. The letter also said that boys and girls should have separate swimming lessons and that divorces between Muslims should be approved by an imam.
The letter provoked an instant, and damning, response from integration and equality minister Jens Orback.
"We will not have separate laws in Sweden. In Sweden, we are all equal before the law. In Sweden, we have fought for a long time to achieve gender-neutral laws, and to propose that certain groups should not be treated like others is completely unacceptable."
Orback said he had spoken to representatives of the Swedish Muslim Council, and they did not support the association's position.
"We have freedom of speech, we have the right to opinions and we have the right to make proposals - but if a law is going to be changed, it must be the same for everyone."
Asked whether the proposal plays into the hands of racists, Orback said that it did.

Islam is NOT a race!!! Enough of this PC crap!

"I think it is very problematic and unfortunate that people who have been in Sweden for so long make proposals such as this that are so opposed to our intentions, when we are fighting for women's rights and the right to divorce," Orback replied.
Liberal Party leader Lars Leijonborg also slammed the idea of separate laws.
"Sweden has equality between men and women. To introduce exceptions for Muslims so that women can be oppressed with the support of the law is completely unacceptable to me," Liberal leader Lars Leijonborg wrote in a statement.

It's completely unacceptable. Period.

Speaking to Swedish Radio on Friday, Mahmoud Aldebe said that the furore following his letter was the result of a misunderstanding.
"I'm not demanding parallel laws, I'm not demanding special legislation for Muslims. I just want to adapt our laws so that the Muslim minority feels safe in society," Aldebe told SR.

Don't feel safe? Just GET the f*ck OUT. It's that simple.

Right wing surge across Scandinavia

From Islamophobic, full post at the Viking Observer:

"[...] Rightwing parties now have majorities in all three Scandinavian countries according to a new poll. The majorities range from a razor-thin 50.1% in Norway over 53.7% in Denmark to 55.5% in Sweden."

This is good news. Scandinavian countries have always been too lefty and PC for my taste (Sigh!).

Well, know that I think about it, the rest of Europe hasn't been much better either.
This is why we are now so much in trouble with Muslim immigrants, and it will only get worse. The recent increases of anti-semitic attacks in France and Muslim gang rapes in Sweden are unfortunately just a glimpse of what's to come I'm afraid.
