Battlefield 3 is an upcoming installment in the long-running Battlefield video game franchise developed by EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield 3will be developed on the Frostbite 2.0 engine. It has been confirmed that the game is not supported on Windows XP.The game is set to be released in "Fall 2011" with its first trailer unveiled on February 4, 2011.
